Early Years Deputy Manager with SENCo Responsibilties Job title: Early Years Deputy Manager with SENCo responsibilities Location: Fairfield Play Centre, Mary Terrace, London NW1 7LR Salary: £20,367 per annum for 33 hours per week for 38 weeks term time and 35 hours for 1 week during school holidays. Reporting to: Early Years Lead Practitioner Responsible for: Early Years Workers, sessional staff, volunteers, interns and placement workers Annual Leave: 28 days per annum (including public holidays) pro-rata Hours: 33 hours per week during term-time (38 weeks p/a) with the option to take on additional hours during school holidays if you have the relevant skills for playwork Contract Type: Maternity Cover – 9 months with possibility of extension Essential Requirements: A relevant Cache/NVQ Level 2/3 qualification in Early Years Childcare. Knowledge, understanding and experience of delivering the EYFS curriculum in relation to Ofsted requirements for registration and inspection Job Purpose and Context. The purpose of this role is to plan for and support the delivery of high quality, inclusive, childcare, play and learning opportunities for children aged 2-4 years in the London borough of Camden. Through contributing to the creation of a welcoming, stimulating, safe environment, which supports children’s development and well-being, the Early Years Worker will help develop the foundations for children’s future progress through school and life. The Early Years worker will observe and respond to children’s needs and interests.
