FAIRFIELD SPRING NEWSLETTER 2018

Dear Parent/ Carer,

We are very excited to present our first newsletter to our community. Our goal is to keep you informed on what Fairfield play Centre is up to. Whether you are new to us or a regular at our centre our hope is to continue to help make our community strong by bringing you helpful information, ideas and a little fun! Another way we will be reaching out to you is through our newly designed website filled with helpful information, resources and links.

The new website is due to launch in spring 2018 so keep watching!

For those of you who have not heard of us before we deliver a wide range of services including after school and holiday play provisions, early years childcare and mentoring services.

February Half Term

We had a fantastic Half Term, the children had a great time taking part in Slime Day, creating Valentine’s Day arts and crafts, woodwork, and flipping pancakes. Another stand out activity at play center that week was one the kids created themselves, Fairfield’s got talent based loosely on the current popular TV show Britain’s Got Talent, the children put together a great show, which was a huge success and a delight to watch! We can’t wait to see if the show makes a return this Easter Holiday!

New faces

We would like to introduce the lovely Debbie Brooker who joined us as a play worker in January, some of you may know Debbie as she has worked in other play settings in the Camden area, she brings with her over 15 years’ experience of working with children.

Donations

This is the part we ask for your help! Our out of school club relies on your very generous donations to provide a range of fun activities for the children. We are always on the lookout for dressing up clothes, books, arts and crafts materials and toys. We are always grateful for any donation-  big or small!

EVERY LITTLE HELPS!

What do children do at Play Centre

At play Centre children do what they do best. PLAY! Play Centre offers endless opportunities for children to explore, create, jump, run, get messy and grow. A focus on child- led learning means that each day we offer a variety of learning and play experiences for the children to choose from. A typical day at play Centre would include activities like painting, arts and crafts, sports and lots of exciting clubs.
